1. What is the requirments for entering Hainan Island?
Entry Requirements to Sanya Hainan Island & Customs of Sanya Hainan Island: 
Sanya Hainan Island is part of China, so your visa for China is also valid for Sanya Hainan Island.
Sanya Hainan Island is open to the whole world. Visitors who wish to stay within Sanya Hainan Island for 15 days on business or pleasure from countries and regions with diplomatic or official relations with China can obtain a travel visa or landing visa upon arrival at the ports Haikou, the capital city of Sanya Hainan Island, and Sanya. Visitors wishing to stay more than 15 days can apply for an extension to their visa with appropriate reasons supplied to authorities. But the landing visa is only valid for Sanya Hainan Island. If you wish to visit other part of China, you have to apply for visa at the local authorities. To Tibet, you have to apply for special permit for the entry.


Based on the information by local security office,  following nationals are not entitled to get landing visa in Sanya Hainan Island,
A. Nationals of United Kingdom / USA / Iran / Iraq / Sri Lankan / Turkey / Pakistan / Nigerian / Afghanistan.
B. Hong Kong and Macau Resident who was holding a China Entry Permit (֤)
C. If passengers holding Official, Diplomatic, Service or Special passports want to obtain a visa on arrival service, case must refer to CZ for acceptance.
In addition, according to the relevant regulations, from 2001, the travelers are allowed to stay in Hainan for up to 15 days without China Visa, if they have organized a group tour (minimum 5 people traveling together) within Sanya Hainan Island by the certified travel agencies, and are from these 21 countries, i.e., Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Korea, Philippines, Indonesia, Germany, England, France, Australia, Italy, Russia, Switzerland, Sweden, Spain, Holland, America, Canada, Austria and New Zealand. But the agencies must pass the name list and travel schedule to the local costumes before the group arrival.
Residents of Hong Kong and Macao and overseas Chinese can enter Hainan Sanya Hainan Island using their Chinese passport or other certified travel documents. Residents of Taiwan can apply for a special single-entry travel certificate at the ports of Haikou or Sanya.


2. Do I need to bring my medical records?
We suggest that you bring your medical records with you when you travel. The absence of your medical records may make you disoriented when emergency occurs. The medical record should include your blood type, immunization record, allergies, medications you are currently taking (both prescribed and non- prescribed), your doctor's name, address and telephone number.


3.What should I pack for my trip to Sanya Hainan Island?
The rule is to pack lightly, and bring casual clothes. A sturdy, comfortable pair of walking shoes is a necessity in case you are going for hiking. A nice shirt for man, and one or two dresses or pantsuits for women will suit the most formal occasions to be encountered in Sanya.


Checklist: Electrical converter and adapter plugs. China's electrical system operates at 220 volts. Razor, alarm clock. Common toiletries, cold and digestive medications, lip balm, sanitary napkins and any over-the-counter medicines you generally use. Reading materials, including a guidebook on the places you will visit.
Sunscreen lotion and sunglasses. Camera & film. And be sure to pack extra batteries and a charger.
A notebook to keep track of all the exciting things happening on the trip.

4.What credit cards are accepted in Sanya?
Most of the internationally accepted credit cards are usable in the five-star hotels of Sanya. They include Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diner's Club, and JCB card of Japan. Credit cards are accepted in hotels, large shopping malls and stores. Credit card symbols are displayed in the visible place in hotels and shops indicating those credit cards are accepted. Other places like shopping center or restaurants do not accept credit card. It is useful to prepare enough cash in Chinese RMB at any time when you are travelling in Sanya.


5.May I take Chinese currency to China for my convenience?
You can bring small amount of Chinese currency with you. It is unnecessary to take large amount of Chinese currency to China since you can easily exchange foreign currency into Chinese RMB in hotels and banks. However, if you would like to have local currency upon your arrival, it is okay to take a volume of Chinese currency less than 6,000Yuan without declaration at the customs. You are required to declare your import of Chinese currency exceeding 6,000Yuan.


6.What are your suggestions about tipping?
Tipping has become a common practice in tourism industry in China in recent years although gratuities are entirely voluntary, not required. It is quite normal to tip the tour guide, driver and hotel bellboy in recognition of their good service. Normally, you do not need to tip at hotel restaurant as the bill includes 10% to 15% service charge and it is not customary to leave tips at local restaurant unless you are highly satisfied with their food and service. Please feel free to tip or not to according to your like. What we can assure is that to tip or not to will not affect our guides' services.

7.Do we eat Chinese food throughout the trip?
You can have Western food everywhere in Sanya. If you are here, we recommend you to try some local seafood and wild vegetable, which you could not find anywhere in other place.


8. Is the tap water drinkable in Sanya?
Tap water is not drinkable in China except in some of the hotels, but it is safe for brushing teeth. All hotels supply guests in the room with a thermos of hot boiled water to make tea or coffee. Bottled water is recommended. Some hotels provide complimentary bottled water. If not, it can be purchased for about RMB2 per bottle everywhere outside the hotel.


9.What are the baggage regulations for domestic flights in China?
In accordance with regulations of the General Administration of Civil Aviation of China, the free baggage allowance within China is 20kg for the economy class, 30kg for the business class, and 40kg for the first class, plus limited carry-on luggage. Excess baggage charges are the sole responsibility of the clients. Regulations within China specify that all suitcases must have a locking device attached. Failure to follow this regulation may result in refusal by airport staff to load suitcases onto the aircraft.


Baggage regulations when flying inside China
CARRYON BAGGAGE
Total weight of carryon baggage for each passenger may not exceed 5kg. First class passengers may carry up to 2 pieces. All other passengers may carry on only one piece. The size may not exceed 20x40x55cm. Carry no baggage in excess of the limit is subject to an excess baggage fee and must be handled as checked baggage.
FREE BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE
Passengers holding an adult fare or half fare ticket are entitled to a free baggage allowance of 40kg for first class, 30kg for business class, and 20kg for economy class. No free baggage allowance is granted to infants.
IF YOU ARE TRAVELING TOGETHER IN GROUP MORE THAN 1 PERSON, YOU CAN USE YOUR ALLOWANCE TOGETHER.
Even though the check in baggage allowance is 20kg per person when flying in China. You can put 2 or more people's allowance together. For example, you have 30kg and your friend has only 10kg, it will be fine as long as you two check in together at the airport. But if the total weight exceeds 40kg, they will charge you the over weight part.
ARTICLES WHICH CANNOT NE TAKEN AS BAGGAGE
Passengers are not allowed to carry in their checked or carryon baggage dangerous articles, such as flammable, explosive, corrosive, poisonous, radioactive, polymerisable contaminant and magnetized materials. Passengers are forbidden to carry arms, sharp or lethal weapons when taking a flight.
ARTICLES WHICH CANNOT BE PACKED IN THE CHECKED BAGGAGE
Passengers are not allowed to pack in the checked baggage important documents, classified materials, diplomatic mail bags, negotiable securities, currencies, money orders, valuables, vulnerable perishables and articles and other articles needed in the special custody of somebody. The carrier will not be liable for the loss of or damage to the aforementioned.
BAGGAGE PACKING
The checked baggage should be packed perfectly, well locked, toed up solidly and be able to withstand pressure to a reasonable extent. Carriers may refuse to accept for carriage if the baggage packing does not meet to the requirements.
BAGGAGE COMPENSATION
The carrier will be liable to compensate for the loss of or damage to the checked baggage due to the carrier's fault. The norm of compensation shall not exceed RMB 50 Yuan per kg. If the value of the baggage is less than RMB 50 Yuan per kg, the amount of compensation shall be paid according to its actual value of the loss.
BAGGAGE DECLARED VALUE
A passenger may declare the value of his baggage if the value of his checked baggage exceeds RMB 50 Yuan per kg, Baggage declared value cannot exceed the value of the current baggage. The maximum baggage declared value is RNB 8,000 Yuan.
SECURITY INSPECTIION
Passengers and their baggage (including checked and carryon baggage) are subject to the security inspection before boarding the aircraft.


10. What is the airport tax in China?
Airport tax (airport construction fee) and fuel surcharge for domestic flights is RMB 130 Yuan (about US$6) each time you fly. This fee must be paid in cash before check-in. For international flights (even flying to Hong Kong) is 90 Yuan (about US$11). In Hong Kong, it is HK$50 (around US$6.5).


11. What guarantee do we have if we send our money to your bank account by wire transfer?
Please keep the receipt your bank gives you when you make the wire transfer just in case we don't get the money. Once we receive your payment, we will send you a formal confirmation through e-mail or a receipt of the total payment. Besides, you will have the following guarantee: in China every travel agency has to deposit a certain amount of money as service guarantee fund to the China National Tourism Administration (CNTA). Our travel agency deposited RMB1600, 000 Yuan (USD $200,000) at the account of the China National Tourism Administration in case of guest complaints. So we have to provide our guests with the services we list in the itinerary. Otherwise our fund would be deducted and refunded to you if your complaint meets any items of the tourist law.

14. Are there Entry Information?
Visa Required. Foreign visitors can obtain individual or group visas from Chinese embassies and consulates in their country of departure, or China Travel Service offices in Hong Kong, usually within a day or two. For individual travelers, single-entry visas are valid for entry within three months. To apply for visa, the Chinese consular office may require you to provide documents of stay in china - here we can assist you to issue hotel voucher as supporting document.
Special Entry Permit. This is needed if you wish to visit Tibet or it's capital city Lhasa. We can assist you to arrange this entry permit - there are some paperwork involved.
Visitors should carry their passports while in China as they are needed to check into hotels, make plane or train reservations, exchange money or establish the holder's identity.


15 How do I meet my tour guide upon arrival?
